plein air original art landscape about Cicha Art

Krystyna Krasowska-Cicha

Contemporary Plein Air & Sacred Artist

Born in Poland and now based in Ireland, Krystyna Cicha is a contemporary artist whose work explores landscape, light, faith, and emotional presence through plein air and sacred painting.

After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, her artistic journey was interrupted when she moved to Ireland with her husband and child, leaving behind her established creative life in Poland.

While working at the airport and rebuilding life in a new country, painting remained a quiet but constant calling.

During the pandemic, when the world slowed down, she returned fully to art — transforming uncertainty into a new beginning and founding Cicha Art.

Today, her paintings are inspired by the Irish landscape, sacred imagery, silence, and the spiritual connection between humanity and nature.

Her work invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and reconnect with beauty, peace, and what truly matters.

MISSION STATEMENT

My paintings are an invitation to pause — to reconnect with silence, light, nature, and the sacred presence of God.
