Krystyna Krasowska-Cicha
Plein-Air Landscape and Sacred Images Artist

Krystyna Krasowska-Cicha is a distinguished artist renowned for her evocative plein-air landscapes and sacred images, painted primarily in oil. Based in Ireland but originally from Poland, her artistry is deeply influenced by her surroundings, as she explores the interplay of colors, light, and their relationships.

“In my paintings, I want to address what I see in front of me. I aim to do this in the widest possible sense. I want to honor The Creator – the most perfect Artist,” she shares, reflecting her profound spiritual and artistic ethos.

Krystyna draws inspiration from the masterpieces of Turner, Zorn, the Impressionists like Monet and Van Gogh, and colorists such as J. Pankiewicz. These influences blend seamlessly with her academic background, having earned a master’s degree in Fine Art from the Academy of Fine Art in Łódź, Poland.

Her creative process bridges both outdoor and studio work. She often sketches landscapes in pencil or watercolor on-site, transforming these studies into larger oil compositions in her home studio. Whether capturing the serenity of nature or the reverence of sacred themes, her works resonate with a timeless appreciation for beauty and divine artistry.
